RASSA in collaboration of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Aligarh and Chief Medical Officer, Aligarh organized One-day Kisan Gosthi at Palirazapur village of Aligarh district, Uttar Pradesh on 26th March, 2017. This was sponsored by National Horticulture Board, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India, Gurgaon. During the programme, medical checkup of villagers was done in addition to distribution of medicines. Aligarh centre of Tata Chemicals also apprised about their activities to the farmers. Eighteen experts of panel participated in the Kisan Gosthi including a team of medical doctors. The Kisan Gosthi addressed farmers’ queries on agriculture and medical aspects. Total 188 farmers including woman farmers from five villages participated in the programme.
RASSA-Kisan Sahyog Karyakram held at Machkoli village, Bulandshahar district, UP
The RASSA_Kisan Sahyog Karyakram was organised at Machkoli village, Bulandshahar district, UP in collaboration with Pahal Society and Manvadhikar Society. The experts were from different subjects including Dr Kanhaiya Singh, Dr Awani Kumar Singh, Dr Rajiv Kumar Singh, Dr Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Dr S P Singh, Dr R P Singh, KVK Amroha, Dr Desh Raj, KVK Bulandshahar, Dr Rupesh Singh, Bhoomi Sudhar Nigam and Dr K D Verma, Asso. Professor & Head ASPG College Lakhoti. About 95 farmers from 18 villages participated in the programme. They were provided technological guidance in respect of scientific methods of growing of rabi crops, fruit and vegetable crops, integrated farming system, integrated pest management, safety devices for chaff cutter & thresher and improved farm machines.
